JUDGING
The winning films will be decided by a panel of judges featuring representatives from Arts Network Sutton, its partners and and the arts community in Sutton. Films will be judged on the following criteria:
1. Creativity and originality
2. Relevance or connection to the London Borough of Sutton
3. Production quality.
Judging will take place in early October 2016 and the results will be announced at the Final Awards Event to be held on Sunday 23rd of October at the Secombe Theatre in Sutton. The Judges decision will be final.
Films may be produced using any suitable equipment including smartphones, tablets, computers, camcorders or film cameras. However your final film must be converted to a digital file before entry via the filmfreeway.com website. (see FilmFreeway for more details on video file formats.)
All entries should be family friendly. They will be shown to an audience of all ages at the Final Awards event and hosted online at suttonthemovie.com and artsnetworksutton.org
Each entry must be between 1 minute and 10 minutes in length. Opening and/or closing credits are not required, but (if added) may be up to an additional 10 seconds in total.
English language films are preferred, although films may be in any language or have no dialogue at all. Foreign-language audio must have English subtitles.

You must ensure that all content in your film (including footage, music, images, props, etc.) has been created by you. If you include any copyrighted content, you must be able to provide written permission for its use. Entries containing any unauthorised content will be disqualified.
