CALL FOR ENTRIES
Official Selection Notifications January 22, 2020.
ENTRY CATEGORIES
NOTE: We do Not Discern Between Formats During the Submission Process i.e., films vs web series, features vs shorts, or animation etc.. However, we do make those distinctions when we present our awards. We accept works of all genres and formats for consideration in the categories of:
Scripted
Unscripted
GENERAL RULES
Works can be submitted regardless of when they were completed.
Submissions do not have to be premieres to be selected for exhibition.
Non-English projects must contain English subtitles if selected for
screening.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ALL SUBMITTERS MUST AGREE TO:
1) Submit via the FilmFreeway screener directly or linking to Vimeo. YOUTUBE submissions (even via the FilmFreeway screener) are not accepted.
2) Be subject to a 10 day window to decline The BeBop Channel Stock Grant/License Agreement which will be emailed to Official Selections. (Declining the agreement/grant will not affect Official Selection Status)
3) Official Selections proceeding with Stock Grant/License Agreements receive 4,000 shares (over 7 minutes) or 1,500 shares (under 7 minutes) or a custom combination of shares for filmmaker collections, of restricted company stock and the agreements expire December 31, 2023. The agreements are non-exclusive-- meaning that filmmakers may distribute their films on other platforms with an exception of a public Youtube account.
4) Make your film(s) available for download by the festival until June 15, 2020, should the film(s) be accepted.
Applicant(s) must have the legal ownership right to participate in
the festival.
If your submission is selected for screening you agree to provide
the festival with promotional materials such as stills and bios.
The BeBop Channel Corporation is hereby granted the right to utilize
promotional materials and excerpts from any film accepted for
exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants
that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and
understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The SUBMITTER shall indemnify and hold harmless The BeBop Channel Corporation, and its affiliates and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving
copyright, trademark, credits, publicity and screening.
