During the global pandemic, we will be running an exclusive online screening service streaming directly into the homes of potentially thousands of people around the world. This gives us the opportunity to accept more films than ever before!

Join the Lift-Off Global Network from our home at the world-famous Pinewood Studios in the UK for a filmmaking showcase that puts you in the centre of everything.

The event will consist primarily of screening at our headquarters in the world-famous Pinewood Studios- home of blockbuster franchises such as James Bond and Star Wars. The rest of the day will feature exclusive workshops with on-site companies including Sony, Kodak, and Creative Media Skills; each offering invaluable insights into the film industry.

You will be joined by other first-time filmmakers in similar positions as yourself, looking to gain an insight into the film industry and how it runs. As well as giving you the support you need to get your work seen, it is also crucial that you meet with other filmmakers in the industry, build relationships for potential collaborations, and receive constructive feedback on your work. At this showcase, you will meet with producers and storytellers from all sections of the industry, all keen to see your project and support your future ambitions.

The film industry seems like a closed-door for many. Festival rejections and lack of work opportunities with a very high career-fence to climb seem like a constant struggle- we want to change that. With this in mind, we have decided that the doors need to open and filmmakers starting out should be given valuable insights into how they can use their skills and develop them so that they may become the future of the business.

This initiative has been created to give filmmakers on their initial journey the showcase, the tools, the platform and advice to build their careers from the right starting point, helping first-time filmmakers to realise their professional lives within film.

Want representation at international film markets and unlimited submissions to all 25 Lift-Off Film Festivals and Showcases? Join the Lift-Off Network today to further your filmmaking career.
