An imaginarium refers to a place devoted to the imagination. To stimulate and cultivate the imagination through cinematic vision. Join filmmakers from the US and around the world to experience film in a unique live presentation that will expand the senses and open up new realities in creative vision.

What better place to showcase your creative vision and storytelling than at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Four days of outstanding films from across the country and around the world and networking await the official selections. Meet and mingle with the festival guests, fellow filmmakers and writers.

Four days of excitement and entertainment including the Opening Night Reception, Independent Film Screenings, Social Events, Red Carpet Arrivals, photo opportunities and networking opportunities then concluding with the Closing Night Black Tie Awards Dinner and Gala.

Who's the VIP? You are, each official selection will receive two (2) VIP All Access Tickets that covers all events and screenings, it's like winning an exclusive backstage experience where your the star!

Terms and rules

The Great American Film Imaginarium is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations, and fully understands that no screening or booking fees will be paid.

The undersigned agrees that by submitting a work (film, screenplay, photography et al) shall indemnify and hold harmless The Great American Film Imaginarium and release the festival, it's parent company, sponsors, venues, employees, volunteers and vendors of any and all liability from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. In the event of low submissions or venue changes the festival reserves the right to modify the submission dates and or event dates without advance notice in order to provide a fair and honest competition for all filmmakers and an enjoyable experience for all attending. No submission fee refunds are granted unless the event is completely canceled by the organizers.

Due to Covid-19 risks at public functions all attendees and general public agree by attending to hold harmless and release the festival, it's parent company, sponsors, venues, employees, volunteers and vendors of any and all liability for illness or otherwise relating to the covid-19 public risk at live events.

The Great American Film Imaginarium is not affiliated with nor endorsed or sponsored by the Disneyland Resort, it's Theme Parks or any other operations or business entities of the Walt Disney Company or its affiliates.
