About the festival

**(2020) DUE TO THE UK'S CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS THIS YEAR'S MONOCHROME FILM FESTIVAL HAS MOVED ONLINE - see website or social media for announcements**

Welcome to our 3rd season!

We love monochrome film and really wanted to create a short film festival showcasing some of the best works from around the world.
There's just something about the choices made when mixing the shades of a single colour and bringing it to life on screen. It really highlights the art of storytelling, cinematography and lighting in its purest form.

Alongside the film competition will be a short script contest.

The work will be reviewed by seasoned industry professionals, including guest judges. From award winners to veterans of their respective crafts. We want your projects to be successful, and that's why we're handpicking our judges, people who will review your work with the care and respect it deserves.

The event will be held in the amazing Whirled Cinema in Brixton, London in the second week of November.

It will be a great chance to network with other industry professionals, enjoy a night of great films, sit back and enjoy refreshments while you watch the big screen!

We know how expensive filmmaking can be and have kept our prices as low as possible in consideration of the filmmaking and writing community.

Film award winners will receive a statuette on the night and certificates will be emailed.
Script award winners will receive certificates by email.
