What do these have in common? They were all made using just one shot.
One shot is dynamic, occasionally spectacular and even iconic, but above all it represents a great challenge for filmmakers.
That’s why three London-based film aficionados set up The One Shot Movie Competition in 2012.
A competition unlike any other, the competition is dedicated to short and feature films made using just one shot. This is the 6th year for the competition following hugely successful and well received competitions in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Our Awards night has been held at a number of venues around London, The Hackney Attic, The Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square and in 2016 The Charlotte Street Hotel. A sold out evening saw Behzad Moloud's Tomorrow After Yesterday crowned 2016's Best One Shot movie.
This year the films will be screened at a central London cinema at an evening that promises to show some of the most innovative and thought provoking shorts from around the world.
