About the festival

Twisted Tales Festival is a brand new festival showcasing the most twisted, weird and just plain unsettling short films in unusual venues in Cardiff and Bristol City Centre. Prepare your eyes, it's going to be one hell of a show.

Twisted Tales is Brought to you by the producers of Cardiff Mini Film Festival.

We held our first event on the 24th November 2019. The 2nd was on 23rd February 2020. The festival will take place every few months to showcase the best twisted tales around.

Terms and rules

Films must have been made after January 2018.

Our panel comprises of industry judges who are not connected with the festival. Their decision is the final decision.

We may use a short clip of your film in our festival trailer. By submitting you are allowing us to also screen your film at the festival.

There will be no refunds to those who have not read the rules for entry and find out they are not eligible to be considered.
