Uyo international theatre and film Festival prides itself as the first ever joint theatre and film festival in Africa's most populous black nation - Nigeria. UTAFF aims at becoming a premier site for increasing development in indigenous performing and media arts.
Significantly, the Festival is designated to celebrate the prevalent symbiosis and influences of multifaceted African theatre and film. In every edition, we host quality live theatre and cinema showcases, industry interactions and awards.
Uyo metropolis in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria is the hosting city of UTAFF.
We are committed to raising future African film and theatre makers that will register commendable stir in the global performance space.
