Located in the heart of the Midwest, VidWest is a noncompetitive film festival for musicians, filmmakers and anyone who loves to party. The fest offers a weekend exhibition of music and music videos in the arts district of Columbia, Missouri. Our focus is on connecting musicians and videographers, bringing our community together, and celebrating the art of music videos from all over the world.
Founded by a local collective of Missouri artists, entrepreneurs and teachers, the first annual VidWest Festival offers live screenings of music videos in nontraditional spaces. For one weekend the festival transforms coffee shops, art galleries, a brewery and other local businesses into interactive venues for people to enjoy films, strike up conversations and shake their booty.

A select number of musicians and filmmakers will receive free lodging and meals, in addition to having their video screened live at the festival.
