ELIGIBILITY FOR SELECTION:
All entry films (documentary and short formats) must meet all of the following eligibility conditions:
The subject and story line of the film should be centered on the deaf OR about the differently abled persons.
The film must have been produced after January 1, 2013.
The duration of the short film must be less than 15 minutes.
The film must not have been broadcasted and/or made available on television, the internet, mobile phones and/or any other public viewing platform now known or thereafter devised before and until the end of the festival.
All non-English films must have English subtitles.
The submitted work must NOT be a television programme or an episode of a series.
Films that have been submitted and rejected to earlier editions of NSFF will not be considered.
In the event that a film is not selected by Voices for the Official Competitions, Voices reserve the right to select the said film for screening only.
In the event that a film is not selected by Voices for the Official Competitions, Voices and the Bahraini Deaf Community reserves the right to select said film for any suitable purpose.
