About the festival

Waterproof Festival is a film festival that highlights is water sports (kayaking, surfing, sailing, kitesurfing, diving, etc.). Each year we curate a unique program of 4 - 6 films in two days that combines documentaries with movie shorts, action water sports with environmentalism, and fascinating stories with stunning pictures. All movies share one common theme: a connection with water (ocean, sea, river, lake, etc).

Prix du Public (Audience Award).

We pay filmmakers a licensing fee for films selected as part of our festival (one diffusion only). This fee will be negotiated based on our current budget of the year.

We also invite filmmakers and the films's protagonists to the Festival in Switzerland.
