WonderRoot's Generally Local Mostly Independent (GLMI) Film Series is an ongoing partnership between WonderRoot, Plaza Theatre Foundation, and Atlanta Film Society. We host quarterly screenings and regularly bring in guest jurors to select the most promising films of the evening. The series supports emerging filmmakers in getting their work festival-ready. Winning filmmakers receive funding to submit their work to other local and national film festivals, along with VIP access to the annual Atlanta Film Festival.
The submission fee for GLMI is $5. Please email Programs Coordinator Nina Dolgin at nina@wonderroot.org if you cannot afford this fee due to financial hardship.
