Maria, a 9 yo girl lives in a dystopian violent and dangerous world controlled by Drug Cartels. She wants for her birthday present to play at the park across the street, but people die there since it's a forbidden as many other things.

Maria, a 9 yo girl lives in an extremely violent and dangerous post apocalyptic-ish world controlled by Drug Cartels. It is a futuristic dystopian world (50 years in the future) where the democratic government was destroyed by the power of drug related groups which rule this society with strict discipline, fear and constant domination both psychological and physical. Due to this restrictive and absolute control, technology went from being forbidden, to extinct and the new generations know about it due to memories shared by the grown ups and elderly; like the simple things we give for granted as internet or even a photography. Is in this tough and dangerous world where Maria wants for her birthday present to play at the park across the street. But people die there since loitering in public places it's forbidden as many other things by the Cartels who govern this world with a set of rules call MIRA Protocol.
